With a Masters Degree in Project Management and over 12 years’ experience working in the New Zealand Air Force. Cruise made a recent shift to the business field with the goal to share his experiences in leadership and management to help young Pasifika people achieve their goals.
Lisa’s greatest passion is in providing pathways and opportunities for young Pasifika people to thrive in business. After 15 years in Corporate, Lisa is driven to seeing change in the business world – one which is more inclusive and recognises the value that Pasifika people bring. Lisa is mum to Keilani and Kanoa and a proud Westie!
John is an award-winning content producer with over 20 years experience in the television industry mainly applying his craft in the on-air promotions arm of SKY New Zealand marketing and is the co-founder of Kava Bowl Media. A production company operated from his garage in MĀNGERE. He is also a very proud Kiwi and his parents migrated to NZ from Samoa in 1987.
Shane’s background and career revolves around positive youth development, creating and developing programmes that see young people further develop their own creativity, ideas and aspirations. His favourite Māori concept is ‘Ako’ – where the teacher and the student both share their learnings and grow their knowledge together, and that we are all in a constant state of learning.
Indigo Sagala is a South Auckland raised entrepreneur. She is also a world renowned Choreographer, dancer and the Director of Bindi Chewsdays Dance Company. She is a recent graduate of the Hatch Pacific programme and has a passion for sharing her business experience with her Pasifika community.
As a senior director for MAU Studios, Nelson has helped lead the transformation of corporate, public and non-governmental organisations and programs seeking regeneration and growth. His passion for place and people continues to inspire him to contribute to the design and delivery of regenerative solutions advocating for the self-empowerment of communities throughout the Pacific and Aotearoa.
